Sexuality and trauma. Interstices and clinical tensions inherent psi practice in the device of Sexual and Reproductive Health Counseling (CSSyR)

Abstract

The present work proposes a journey around what are supposed the epistemological clinical tensions inherent to psi practice in the device of Sexual and Reproductive Health Counseling (CSSyR) within the framework of a General Hospital. To this end, we propose the analysis of the dialectical interplay between the singular, particular and universal dimensions, from clinical vignettes and their respective psychoanalytic interventions, providing, in turn, an articulated reading of public policies that concern the sexual and reproductive health of the population. In the CSSyR device will be placed the difference put into action between the look from psychoanalysis based on the desiring subject and the hygienic legal conception of sexuality sustained by the hegemonic medical discourse. Such analysis requires a genealogical work of the intersection between health, reproduction and sexuality and the return to the subject. The proposed itinerary constitutes a reading from the macro to the micro of the practices, reading not without swings that can be a kick for future analyses of the different areas where the work of practitioners of psychoanalysis is inscribed, taking into account the unavoidable importance of the clinic, ethics and politics as a fundamental triptych of the toolbox for venturing into psi territory.
