Abstract

This article aims to make visible the particular way in which the Pediatric Area of the Hospital Provincial de Rosario takes care of the child’s admissions through an interdisciplinary team. The novelty is the inclusion in the childhood health/disease care system of a clinical–playful area which tries to help the child and his family to overcome the discomfort of admission reasons and the one produced by the admission itself. This system provides the work-toghether among different disciplines making diagnosis and treatment of the patient and his family. This facilitation, essential for the integral attention of health, is often invisible or devalued by the team itself. We try through this analysis to give it the importance it deserves.
